Advanced Shading Tutorial

This was the favourite lesson for my group, and would be considered advanced digitising, but I show it to you in logical steps, settings, density etc, so that taken one step at a time as my students did, a lovely shaded effect is produced that is not dense, remains supple, and is truly beautiful.

Once you have learned this technique you can do lovely shading on flowers and wild life designs.

Totally different to the fur lesson which is another kind of shading, this one is smooth and would suit smooth haired dogs or cats.

Some of my students had only done a few of the basic lessons when they tackled this one, and they were surprised how easy it was, and thrilled because success is the incentive to keep going in the learning to digitise process.
